PRIVACY
Your privacy.
What this website does with your information, in plain words.

Visitor statistics
To help Santa’s Secret see how the website is used, it counts visits. For each page viewed it records the page, its title, the website you came from (such as Google or Facebook) and the time. It also counts taps on things like the phone number, email address, directions, social media and booking or checkout buttons, recording only the kind of tap and the page.
So it can tell new visitors from people who come back, your browser is given a random number, stored in your browser for this website only and kept for 12 months. It isn’t linked to your name, email address, IP address or any other website, and there are no advertising trackers. The statistics are kept by oo.studio, which looks after this website, and Santa’s Secret only sees totals, such as how many people visited each month.
To remove the number, clear this website’s data in your browser settings.
Email updates
If you sign up for updates, Santa’s Secret uses your email address to send the news, new arrivals, offers and events you’ve asked for. Your email address and signup consent are stored with our website’s form provider, Netlify Forms.
The Halloween list works the same way: your first name (if you give it), email address and consent are used only for Halloween events and announcements. To unsubscribe or have your details removed, email Kim at info.santasecret@gmail.com.
Shopping online
Online orders are paid on Square’s secure checkout. Your card details are entered with Square, not on this website, and this website doesn’t store them. For click & collect, the name, mobile number and collection time you enter are sent to Square with your order so Kim can let you know when it’s ready. For Australia Post delivery, Square’s checkout asks for your name, phone number and address. Square emails your receipt, and its own privacy policy applies to the details you give it. Product photos in the shop are loaded from Square.
Just before you go to checkout, your browser saves your order number so that, when you come back, this website can ask Square whether the order was paid. It’s removed once payment is confirmed. That check returns only the items, total and pickup or postage, never your name or contact details.
The Halloween map
On the Halloween 2026 map, “Show where I am” asks your permission first. Your location is used only to show you on the map in your browser; it isn’t sent to Santa’s Secret or saved. The map images come from Mapbox, or OpenStreetMap if Mapbox can’t load, and their servers receive your connection details to send them.
The chat button
The chat button opens a chat window run by SayGday, which shows answers Santa’s Secret has approved. What you type in the chat goes to SayGday so it can find an answer, so there’s no need to include personal details.
Fonts, links and hosting
Most pages load their fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google to fetch them. Links to Facebook, Instagram and Google Maps or Google reviews take you to those services, which have their own privacy policies.
The website is hosted by Netlify. Like any website host, Netlify processes connection information (such as your internet address) to deliver these pages securely.
